Ouarzazate and Fint oasis in one day trip
Overview:
Travel toward the south in 2 days trip from Marrakech to Ouarzazate and Fint oasis to explore the gems of southeast of Morocco. Leave the noise of Marrakech red city and cross Atlas mountains and its clay Berber villages as well as scenic views of Tizi n’Tichka. Descend on Telouet to visit Glaoui Kasbah; a former Pacha of Marrakech. you will continue traveling trough the former route of Caravanes linking between Sahara and Muravide capital and enjoying old Kasbahs and Ksour. once you arrrive green Ounila valley, you will admire the amzing forified and historical town of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah that has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987 and which gave bith to maany universal movies such as Gladiator, Games of thrones and so on. You will also have chance to visit studio and Taourirt Kasbah that belong to a former fuedal family. You will drive toward charming Fint oasis which you will admire and have some lovely photos and visit Berber.
Day 01 Marrakech - Tizi n'Tichka Pass - Ouarzazate - Fint Oasis
- Meet at your Riad/accommodation or nearest park.
- Start our Marrakech to Ouarzazate 2 days trip by leaving Mat 08am.
- Cross the high atlas mountains “Tizi n´Tishka” Pass 2260 m traversing unique landscapes with magnificent colours.
- Descend to the Kasbah of Telouet; Palace of former Pach of Marrakech.
- Visit Glaoui castle and have some pictures.
- Continue down through the magnificent Ounila valley to reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
- Visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which Classified as a UNESCO heritage and film like you are an actor in Gladiator or Game of thrones.
- Drive to the ancient Kasbah Tifoultout which belonged to the family of Thami El Glaoui, Pacha of Marrakech from 1912 to 1956.
- Continue our trip to the Oasis Fint, where you will spend the night in a traditional Kasbah.
Day 02 Fint Oasis - Ait Ben Haddou - Telouet - High Atlas - Marrakech
- Wake up and have our breakfast.
- Trekking in a guided visit of charming paradise Fint oasis.
- Enjoy a mint tea at a local Berber family’s home.
- Free time to explore the quiet and peaceful oasis at the river with an expert guide and learn more about the way of life of the inhabitants.
- Explore Ouarzazat, which is considered as African Hollywood. Know also for its solar energy project.
- Visit Taourirt Kasbah and learn about its history as an old Kasbah for Imzwarne which means formers.
- Visit Cinema studio and explore African Hollywood.
- In the afternoon we return to Marrakech via the Tishka Pass enjoying stunning views of Atlas mountains.
