This 7-day tour will take you from the vibrant coastal city of Tangier to the vast and mystical
landscapes of the Moroccan desert. Along the way, you will explore charming towns, ancient
cities, and breathtaking natural scenery, culminating in an unforgettable desert adventure.

Your journey will begin in Tangier, where you will soak in the city’s coastal charm before
heading south. The road will take you through rolling hills and lush landscapes to
Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco.


Upon arrival, you will explore its enchanting Medina, filled with blue-washed walls and
winding alleys. You will visit the Kasbah Museum, enjoy a leisurely walk to Ras El Maa
waterfall, and take in panoramic views of the Rif Mountains. The evening will end with
dinner at a rooftop restaurant, where you will savor Moroccan cuisine under a starlit sky

After breakfast, you will depart Chefchaouen and journey toward Fes. En route, you will stop
at Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. You will explore its ancient
mosaics, arches, and columns, a testament to the region’s rich history.


Next, you will visit Meknes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will tour the impressive
Bab Mansour Gate, the Royal Stables, and the peaceful El Hedim Square.
In the evening, you will arrive in Fes, Morocco’s spiritual capital. You will check into a riad
in the Medina and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner

You will spend the day exploring the Fes el-Bali Medina, a labyrinth of narrow streets,
bustling souks, and historic landmarks. Highlights will include:
• The Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest continuously operating university in the world.
• The Bou Inania Madrasa, an architectural masterpiece.
• The vibrant tanneries, where leather is dyed using traditional methods.
You will also visit the Royal Palace (exterior) and the Jewish Quarter. The day will end
with a delicious dinner in a local restaurant and a peaceful evening at your riad

An early start will take you through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. You will pass
through charming Berber villages like Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” and
Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and Barbary macaques.

As you descend into the desert, the landscape will shift dramatically, with golden sand dunes
rising in the distance. By late afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga, where you will trade
your vehicle for a camel ride into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes.

You will spend the night in a luxurious desert camp, enjoying traditional music, a campfire
dinner, and the star-filled desert sky

You will wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga by
camel. After breakfast, your journey will continue through the dramatic landscapes of the
Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs tower above a lush valley.

You will take a leisurely walk through the gorge, marveling at its natural beauty, before
heading to the Dades Valley, known for its rugged canyons and stunning rock formations.
You will spend the night in a kasbah-style hotel overlooking the valley

The road will lead you through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, a region dotted with
ancient fortresses. You will visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a stunning ksar
(fortified village) that has served as the backdrop for many famous films.


In the afternoon, you will arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” You
will explore the Taourirt Kasbah and, if time permits, the Atlas Studios, one of the largest
film studios in the world.
You will spend the night in Ouarzazate, enjoying a peaceful evening in this historic city.

On your final day, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains, taking in breathtaking views as
you wind through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, you will visit traditional Berber
villages and marvel at the dramatic landscapes.
