Your journey begins as we depart from your riad/hotel in Marrakech, crossing the stunning Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before arriving at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah and a famous filming location. After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate, home to Atlas Film Studios, then pass through the Valley of Roses before reaching Boumalne Dades, where you will spend the night

After breakfast, explore the impressive Dades Gorges, then continue to Todra Gorges, a paradise for rock climbers. We drive through Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the afternoon, embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, witness a magical sunset, and settle into a luxurious desert camp for an unforgettable night under the stars, complete with traditional Berber music.

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel. After breakfast, travel through Errachidia and the scenic Ziz Valley, a lush oasis with thousands of date palm trees. Stop in Midelt, known as the apple capital of Morocco, before heading to Azrou’s Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques. Continue to Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland”, before reaching Fes, where you’ll stay overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City nestled in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy picturesque views and visit local landmarks, including the medina, Outa el Hammam Square, and the historic Kasbah Museum. Spend your afternoon wandering the charming blue-washed streets before checking into your riad for the night.

After breakfast, drive through the Rif Mountains to Tetouan, often called the “White Dove”, known for its Andalusian influence. Continue to Tangier, a historical port city on the Strait of Gibraltar, blending Moroccan, Spanish, and French cultures. Spend the evening exploring Tangier’s medina, coastline, and historical sites before resting at your hotel.

Depart from Tangier along the beautiful Atlantic coast, arriving early in Asilah, a small yet vibrant coastal town known for its artistic murals, pristine beaches, and Portuguese fortifications. Stroll through its charming medina, relax by the beach, and explore its lively art scene. Enjoy free time in the afternoon before an overnight stay in a riad.

Continue your journey to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, known for its blend of modern and historic sites. Visit the iconic Hassan Tower, the grand Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, a picturesque fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. After exploring Rabat’s highlights, check into your hotel for the night.

On the final day, travel to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Africa, located on the Atlantic coastline. After exploring the city, we will drop you off at your preferred location, marking the end of your 8-day Morocco tour from Marrakech.
